Those 9 months can be a little long, lonely, or even scary. Here are some men and women who'll there for you until delivery and beyond.

Today is the feast day of St. Gerard Majella, the Italian lay-brother who is the go-to saint for all things maternal. Yet there are a number of lesser-known patrons of pregnant women, childbirth , and unborn children, who might also bring comfort and reassurance during the exciting — and sometimes a little scary — road to motherhood. And you never know, it might be a saint you’re already familiar with.
